Belmont House

This home is designed with a relaxed elegance and soothing palette throughout. The kitchen is French Country with a sense of fun. A coffered tray ceiling in the bedroom and clerestory ceiling in the kitchen nook adds additional flair.

Hillsborough House

We have been on site for numerous projects including building a garage addition with attached office and bathroom. Our latest refinements include a new master bedroom suite with a custom marble hearth and fireplace.

Special projects have brought us from storybook Carmel to Marin County. We have the pleasure of restoring Villa Maria, a Spanish Mediterranean gem on the waterfront on Corinthian Island in Belvedere. While restoring the interior of the home, we replaced the pier and floating dock, as well as the off street parking structure. Much of the materials were transported by barge. Some neighbors expressed concerns when the exterior was being repainted: "Is the pink villa going to remain pink? Our comment was "Well, of course, why would we change the color after 80 years?"

We have returned to do more restoration work.

This historic home in Carmel-by-the-Sea has been in the same family for four generations. It was built in 1922. The home is undergoing its first significant remodeling projects. The new design calls for a small addition as well as remodeled kitchen and bathrooms. We strive to see that the project adheres to the original architecture, while adding efficiency and creative finishes along the way. A truly one-of-a-kind project as the owners anticipate the home's centennial celebration.

TREE HOUSE PORTOLA VALLEY

GATES SAN CARLOS

The client wanted a custom play structure and haven in the trees to be enjoyed by children and adults alike. We designed this to adhere to the style of the main hours and make the most of the scenic view. Complete with electricity, this home away from home offers respite and enjoyment for all.

Custom project that allowed us to use our imagination.
We designed, built, and installed a driveway gate and two pedestrian gates to conform with the Storybook design of the cottage. Built with cedar and artisan hardware, and stained perfectly to go with the house.

PERGOLA SUNNYVALE

HANDRAIL WOODSIDE

The finishing touch to a kitchen, bath, and family room remodel, the pergola was designed as protection from the intense backyard sun and complement to the landscaping.  The structure provides a smooth transition from inside the home to the beautiful outdoor environment.

This custom handrail made for an artisan-style cabin in Woodside was a pleasure to create. Our client gave us free rein to design, build, and install this whimsical addition to the house.
